Lead Architect

Job overview

The Lead Architect is an onsite role based in West Valley City, UT. This position supports the Xtime fixed-ops portfolio at Cox Automotive by contributing to the strategy, design, and implementation of integration architecture connecting to OEM partners and dealer management systems. This role exists to establish an architectural framework and facilitate the definition of integration strategy, standards, and roadmaps. The architect will provide cross-cutting coverage across the portfolio, partnering with other architects to maintain a coherent architectural direction.

What you'll do

• Provide architectural advice and consultation across major integration initiatives.
• Drive architecture and integration patterns for OEM and partner connections.
• Own the DMS surface integration layer.
• Define integration standards, contracts, and interface specifications.
• Drive engineering standards and technology frameworks.
• Assist in the identification and resolution of infrastructure problems.
• Collaborate with suppliers and partners to ensure technical expectations are met.
