This role exists to maintain control of children and vehicular traffic at designated crossing sites to ensure student safety. The incumbent is responsible for directing traffic, reporting infractions, and providing exceptional customer service to the community.

What you'll do

• Direct actions of children at street intersections to ensure safe crossing.
• Record license numbers of vehicles disregarding traffic signals and report infractions to the police.
• Observe vehicles and pedestrians in the area of school crosswalks to report suspicious vehicles or activity.
• Follow all safety regulations, policies and procedures.
• Report all unsafe conditions to the field supervisor.
