The Personal Care Aide (PCA) / Caregiver role is onsite in LaFayette, GA, serving clients in Walker County. Pay is $15 per hour. Interim HealthCare provides home care and describes its work as client-centered care. The aide provides one-to-one support that helps seniors live safely at home. Assistance with daily activities, mobility, transportation, medication reminders, and companionship supports clients’ routines and well-being.

What you'll do

• Provide personal care and support
• assist with bathing, dressing, grooming, meal preparation, light housekeeping, shopping, transportation, and companionship
• help with ambulation, transfers, and range-of-motion exercises
• provide medication reminders
• document client condition and notify a supervisor of concerns
• maintain safe, unobstructed pathways
• engage clients in activities and hobbies.

Why this role

A high school diploma or equivalent and a Georgia Personal Care Assistant Certificate are required; Interim can assist with certification. One year of healthcare experience is preferred. Current hands-on CPR and First Aid, recent TB screening, a valid Georgia driver’s license, auto insurance, and personal transportation are required.
