Paralegal – Civil Litigation

Job overview

The Paralegal – Civil Litigation works in the office in Wilmington, NC, on a Monday–Friday schedule from 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., with a 7.5-hour shift and a one-hour lunch. What you'll do

• Summarize legal documents, depositions, hearings, and medical records
• conduct records and legal research
• check legal forms for accuracy
• prepare reports and correspondence
• draft legal documents
• assist lawyers with trial, hearing, and meeting preparation
• record time for client billing
• interview witnesses and document findings
• coordinate litigated files and schedule mediations and depositions.
