What you'll do

• Organize bid documents
• review plans and specifications and resolve ambiguities before proposal submission
• prepare quantity surveys for labor, materials, and equipment
• tailor cost data to customer needs
• coordinate bid reviews and confirm assumptions
• prepare and present written and verbal proposals
• track construction methods, production rates, and alternative materials
• consider scheduling, sequencing, and safety in estimates
• collaborate with project management on manpower, production rates, and subcontractor quotes
• check building-code compliance and value-engineering opportunities
• verify contract details after award
• support turnover meetings, job-cost budgets, procurement, change orders, project monitoring, and post-mortem reviews.
