The schedule is onsite Tuesday through Thursday, with the option to work from home or the office on Monday and Friday. The role supports MidPen Housing’s People Team. MidPen develops and manages affordable housing and provides onsite resident support programs. The specialist supports employee relations, workers’ compensation, workplace safety, performance management, and compliance activities. Through case documentation, claims coordination, reporting, and partnership with employees, managers, and external agencies, the role helps resolve workplace matters and maintain accurate, compliant records.

What you'll do

• Serve as a contact for employee relations inquiries
• document and track cases and support investigations
• administer workers’ compensation claims and maintain related records
• coordinate with employees, managers, providers, insurers, and external partners
• support safety incident investigations and corrective actions
• assist with performance management documentation
• prepare audit and regulatory reports
• maintain databases and analyze trends
• coordinate OSHA reporting and required filings.
