On-Site Technician

Job overview

The On-Site Technician role is onsite in Cary, NC. Pay is $65,000–$80,000 per year. The technician supports a dedicated client’s managed videoconferencing service and works with Yorktel’s service delivery team. The role exists to keep the client’s audiovisual and videoconferencing systems functioning and to resolve user issues. Through troubleshooting, event support, maintenance, training, and coordination with internal teams, the technician contributes to reliable service and improved customer experience.

What you'll do

• Troubleshoot audiovisual equipment at tiers 1–3
• assist with setup and support for high-level, multi-room events
• escalate room issues and perform break-fix work
• assist with preventive maintenance
• provide basic equipment training to client personnel
• service and return endpoints for maintenance issues
• manage endpoint software updates, firmware upgrades, onboarding, and testing
• communicate issue status with project, account, maintenance, engineering, and sales teams
• participate in root-cause analysis and recommend process improvements
• maintain data in central repository tools.
