Compensation is $80–$90 per hour. Sterling Engineering describes the hire as contract to hire. The engineer leads detailed electrical design for large-scale data center environments, managing project delivery and advising on redundancy and resiliency risks. The role also coordinates with project and field teams, mentors junior staff, and supports business development activities.

What you'll do

• Lead detailed data center design and dedicated design teams
• manage schedules, budgets, and staffing
• coordinate field surveys and technical drawing reviews
• ensure installations meet standards, codes, and customer requirements
• assess redundancy and resiliency risks and prepare studies and reports
• mentor and train junior engineers and designers
• support scope-of-work and level-of-effort development.
