Oral Surgery Assistant

The Oral Surgery Assistant role is onsite in Portland, OR. Compensation is not specified. The position supports a fully digital oral and facial surgery practice providing maxillofacial procedures and patient consultations. The assistant provides clinical and administrative support to the oral surgeon and care team so patient care and clinic workflows can be delivered safely and efficiently. Duties include chairside assistance, patient monitoring, documentation, and coordination of clinical operations.

What you'll do

• Assist the oral surgeon during procedures
• prepare treatment rooms, instruments, and surgical trays
• maintain sterile technique and infection control
• monitor patients around sedation within training and supervision requirements
• record vital signs
• obtain diagnostic imaging as indicated
• document care in the EMR
• support patient intake, discharge, scheduling, and inventory.

Why this role
