Special Education Aide

Job overview

The Special Education Aide role is an onsite position located in Dunbar, NE. Compensation is $17 - $20 per hour based on experience, supporting the Special Education department at ChanceLight Behavioral Health, Therapy, & Education. This role exists to provide personalized support, supervision, and guidance to students in grades K-9. The Special Education Aide collaborates with educators to implement Individualized Education Programs (IEP) and behavioral interventions, contributing to student success and confidence.

• Collaborate with teachers to create a supportive learning environment
• implement individualized instruction and behavioral interventions
• monitor students during lessons
• track student progress
• manage student behavior
• support students with academic and social skill development
• maintain accurate documentation
• communicate with staff and families
• participate in accreditation activities.
