Job overview

The Line Cook role is onsite in Tampa, FL, and pays $24 per hour. The position supports the culinary team across the El Reloj District’s restaurant, event, and hospitality operations, including Elaine’s and Stanford’s Cigar Club. The cook prepares menu items consistently and on time, following recipes and quality standards. The role helps deliver dining experiences at a historic Tampa property by coordinating with the kitchen team and maintaining safe, organized food preparation and service.

What you'll do

• Set up and stock assigned stations
• prepare ingredients, sauces, and proteins
• cook menu items according to recipes and standards
• coordinate with kitchen team members to serve orders accurately and on time
• maintain portion sizes, quality, presentation, and consistency
• follow culinary leadership direction
• keep workstations clean and sanitary
• store, label, date, and rotate food
• assist with receiving, stocking, inventory, and kitchen cleaning.

Why this role

Requires at least one year of line cook experience in a professional commercial kitchen or full-service restaurant. Evening, weekend, and holiday flexibility is required based on business needs. Scratch cooking and French cuisine experience are a plus.
