Construction Intern — Charleston, Summer 2027

The Construction Intern role is onsite in Charleston, SC, primarily as a summer position. Pay is $22–$24 per hour. The intern works with an F.H. Paschen project team as part of its construction internship program. The internship provides students with construction experience in preparation for a career in construction project management. Depending on placement from pre-construction through project closeout, the intern supports project documentation, coordination, and field activities.

What you'll do

• Responsibilities may include subcontractor solicitation, quantity takeoffs, project documentation, and field coordination and supervision.
• Duties include maintaining material logs and project reports, reviewing shop drawings and submittals, tracking change orders and requests for information, collecting and distributing as-builts, reading blueprints, and preparing closeout documentation.
