The Civil Engineer (Construction Management) role is full-time and onsite in Charleston, SC, at the Ralph A. Johnson VA medical facility; compensation is not specified. What you'll do

• Provide full-time onsite civil engineering support at an occupied VA medical facility
• review construction documents, contractor submittals, RFIs/RFCs, schedules, and proposed changes and provide technical recommendations to the Government COR
• conduct site observations and identify mechanical deficiencies, discrepancies, and non-conforming work
• support schedule, cost, quality, safety, and risk considerations
• maintain project documentation
• participate in meetings, site walks, and coordination with contractors, designers, and Government stakeholders.

Why this role

Experience supporting mechanical systems including HVAC, plumbing, medical gas, chilled water, steam, and related building infrastructure is required. Primavera P6, Kahua, or other VA/federal construction management systems experience is preferred.
