Project Engineer

The Project Engineer role is onsite in Plymouth, MN, with pay of $46.50 per hour. The position is a 12+ month contract, with the possibility of temporarily becoming hybrid; the long-term arrangement is expected to be fully onsite. The engineer supports projects across the Electrophysiology organization. The engineer independently leads sustaining engineering, supplier-change, design-change, and continuous-improvement projects while supporting larger strategic initiatives. The role coordinates cross-functional teams, schedules, risks, deliverables, and quality-system requirements to achieve project objectives.

What you'll do

• Plan and execute sustaining engineering, supplier-change, design-change, and continuous-improvement projects
• manage scope, schedules, milestones, risks, and deliverables
• lead cross-functional project teams
• facilitate meetings and accountability
• maintain project plans and documentation
• communicate status and risks
• support governance, reporting, change orders, procurement, and supplier coordination
• ensure compliance with FDA regulations and quality-system requirements.

Why this role

Requires a bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field, at least five years of medical-device experience, and ability to travel up to 10% domestically and/or internationally. Schedule is Monday–Friday, 8:30 a.m.–5:00 p.m.
