Dietary Cook, Evening Shift

Job overview

The Dietary Cook role is onsite in Harrisburg, PA, with pay of $18–$20 per hour. The position supports the dietary team in a skilled nursing setting by preparing meals for residents according to prescribed diet specifications and food safety requirements. The cook contributes to resident comfort and care through safe, appropriate meal preparation and service. Under the Food Service Director’s supervision, the role also assists with food service and maintains clean, sanitary kitchen and dining areas.

What you'll do

• Prepare food according to prescribed resident diet specifications, community procedures, and food safety and sanitation regulations
• assist with food preparation and service as needed
• maintain clean and sanitary kitchen and dining areas
• follow health, sanitation, infection control, and dietary policies
• meet state-specific food handler training requirements.
