What you'll do

• Part of the leadership team and recognized as a clinical expert in one or more functional areas, providing leadership, knowledge, experience and research expertise to the team.
• This position leads or directs the work to ensure the overall movement of patients throughout the unit is managed in a safe and efficient manner in compliance with regulatory guidelines, policies and procedures.
• This position also facilitates solutions for challenging patient care situations and collaborates with the unit manager and educator to monitor and maintain staff performance and outcomes.
• In addition, this position supports team members in alignment with HHC’s vision, core values and leadership behaviors.

What we're looking for

Education

Associate’s degree in Nursing Education; Bachelors of Science in Nursing preferred

Experience

Associate’s degree in Nursing Education; Bachelors of Science in Nursing preferred. 2 years of acute care nursing experience required; 1 year of acute care charge or preceptor experience preferred
