Facilities Maintenance Technician

Job overview

The Facilities Maintenance Technician role is onsite in Ann Arbor, MI, with pay of $27–$35 per hour. MDP Automotive is growing across locations and seeks a technician to take ownership of facilities repairs, improvements, and projects. The technician handles varied building and facility work, from repairs and maintenance to remodeling and technology installations. The role helps keep current locations functional and supports preparation and setup of future locations; work may also involve coordination with outside contractors for specialized trades.

What you'll do

• Perform painting, drywall repair, finish carpentry, framing, light construction, and facility improvements
• install or repair doors, cabinets, shelving, fixtures, and equipment
• complete general repairs, preventative maintenance, organization, and facility upgrades
• help prepare and set up future locations
• work with outside contractors when specialized trades are needed
• technology installation tasks such as cabling, Wi-Fi access points, cameras, and workstations are a plus.
