What you'll do

• Operate and monitor wastewater treatment systems
• inspect equipment and processes
• collect wastewater and effluent samples
• perform routine laboratory tests
• adjust processes and equipment settings
• record operating data and results
• respond to alarms, spills, failures, and emergencies
• operate authorized vehicles and mobile equipment
• perform preventive maintenance and minor repairs
• assist maintenance personnel and contractors
• handle treatment chemicals safely
• maintain clean and safe work areas
• participate in assigned emergency, standby, on-call, weekend, and holiday coverage.
