What you'll do

• Read and follow blueprints and written procedures
• operate lathe and mill machines
• fabricate metal parts for assembly
• use hand and power tools and forming and cutting equipment
• weld metal objects
• maintain and evaluate welding machines
• track manufacturing inventory and welding consumables
• inspect quality, document defects, and rework parts to specifications
• follow safety and housekeeping requirements.
