What you'll do

• Organize, lead, and control service-department workflow
• ensure technician documents are available
• work toward forecasted goals
• dispatch work fairly and monitor technician hours
• assign jobs according to technician level
• monitor safe and efficient work
• check job status at least twice per shift and update advisors about changes to promised times
• open and close repair orders as needed
• handle routine staff or customer complaints
• check warranty material procedures and repair orders
• mentor technicians
• spot-check repair quality and completion
• maintain shop organization and special-tool inventory.

Why this role
