What you'll do

• Monitor inventory and secure vendors for raw materials
• coordinate purchasing plans with production forecasting and responsible plants
• maintain relationships with plant personnel and suppliers

• negotiate pricing
• evaluate new vendors and alternate products
• assist with purchase orders
• support regional and national procurement initiatives
• develop and communicate best practices
• procure goods and services as assigned.
