The Cardiac Device Specialist role is onsite in Arlington, Virginia. Compensation is $34.79–$56.37 per hour. The position supports VHC Health's Physician Cardiology Service Line and its care for patients with cardiac implantable electronic devices. The specialist provides advanced patient and provider support by interrogating, interpreting, and programming cardiac devices in person and through remote monitoring. The role also oversees device clinic monitoring operations to support reliable device follow-up and patient care.

What you'll do

• Interrogate, interpret, and program cardiac implantable electronic devices, including loop recorders, pacemakers, ICDs, and CRT devices
• support in-person and remote monitoring
• oversee device clinic monitoring operations
• use manufacturer platforms including Medtronic, Boston Scientific, Abbott/St. Jude Medical, and Biotronik
• perform and interpret ECGs
• obtain IBHRE certification within 12 months
• maintain BLS and obtain ACLS within six months.

Why this role
