Director of Human Resources

The role supports a growing, multi-state business law firm with more than 150 legal professionals and staff. The director owns the day-to-day operation of the firm’s HR function, including core programs, compliance, recruiting, systems, and team leadership. The role helps the firm scale its people, platform, and capabilities while serving as a responsive partner to firm leadership and employees.

What you'll do

• Design, implement, and administer HRIS/payroll, compensation, performance management, benefits, and talent programs
• supervise the HR Manager and HR Coordinator
• recruit legal support professionals
• maintain multi-state employment compliance and HR policies
• administer and improve HR systems
• build workforce metrics and reporting
• advise stakeholders
• support summer associate and professional development programs
• collaborate across departments.
