The Licensed Speech-Language Pathologist role is onsite at ActivCare Bressi Ranch and ActivCare 4S Ranch in Poway, CA. Compensation is $50–$57 per hour. The position is part-time; four-hour shifts are available. Prava’s clinical team works within senior living communities, where ActivCare emphasizes individualized care, dignity, and preserving independence. The SLP provides functional speech therapy in residents’ everyday environment, addressing communication, cognition, swallowing, and participation. The role collaborates with caregivers, families, nurses, and other clinicians to support residents’ safety, independence, and connection with their community.

What you'll do

• Evaluate and treat communication, cognitive-communication, swallowing, and feeding concerns within scope
• develop communication and environmental strategies
• support safe mealtimes and resident participation
• educate caregivers and families
• collaborate with the interdisciplinary team as residents’ function or communication changes.
