Child Watch Attendant

Job overview

The Child Watch Attendant works onsite in Williamsport, PA. Pay is $11 per hour. The position supports the River Valley Regional YMCA’s child-watch service and its association mission. The role exists to provide safe, healthful care for children of YMCA members and participants. It maintains activity areas and equipment, supervises children, supports social-emotional development and self-help routines, and communicates respectfully with families.

What you'll do

• Help maintain safe, orderly, and clean areas and equipment
• sanitize toys and clean participation spaces
• provide age-appropriate materials and activities
• support children’s social-emotional development and self-help routines
• supervise and engage children
• communicate with families verbally and in writing.
