The work centers on maintaining routines and a calm environment, assisting with personal care and mobility, and observing and reporting changes while following care plans and family preferences.

What you'll do

• Provide one-on-one dementia and Alzheimer’s care
• use redirection and reassurance
• support familiar routines and a calm environment
• assist with bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, transfers, and ambulation
• help prevent falls
• recognize and report changes in behavior or condition
• provide companionship and meaningful engagement
• follow individualized care plans and family preferences.
