Lead Teacher — School-Age Child Care

The Lead Teacher role is onsite in Medina, OH, with a Monday–Friday schedule from 7:30 AM to 4:30 PM and no evenings or weekends. Compensation is $16–$20 per hour. Kids Country, part of Busy Bees North America, provides early childhood education and childcare. The teacher creates a safe, engaging classroom and supports children's learning and development through age-appropriate curriculum and activities. The role partners with families and classroom colleagues, maintains classroom ratios and flow, and contributes to a welcoming learning environment for children ages 6 weeks to 12 years.

What you'll do

• Ensure children's safety, supervision, and well-being
• create and implement developmentally appropriate lesson plans and curriculum
• develop engaging activities
• maintain a clean, safe learning environment
• partner and communicate with families about children's growth and progress
• collaborate with support staff and leadership to maintain classroom ratios and flow
• encourage creativity, confidence, and social-emotional growth. Qualifications include an associate degree in Early Childhood Education or related field, CDA credential, or Career Pathway Level 3.
