Manufacturing Maintenance Technician

Job overview

The Manufacturing Maintenance Technician role is onsite in Butler, PA, with pay of $25–$27 per hour and a $0.75-per-hour differential for hours worked from 3 p.m. to 7 a.m. The position supports JSP’s Resins operations, part of its sustainable materials and manufacturing business. The technician maintains production equipment and helps protect uptime by diagnosing faults, completing repairs, identifying root causes, and supporting reliability improvements. The role works with operations, shift leadership, and maintenance teams in a rotating schedule of 12-hour day and night shifts.

What you'll do

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on production equipment
• troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems
• diagnose motors, relays, fuses, and PLC-controlled equipment
• use diagnostic tools and meters for testing, calibration, and fault isolation
• fabricate, cut, and weld as needed
• identify failure root causes and implement corrective actions
• communicate with operations and maintenance teams
• support continuous improvement and equipment reliability.
