HVAC Startup Technician

What you'll do

• Review projects with the commissioning officer
• manage startup activities
• document pre-functional work and action items in commissioning systems
• communicate job status and schedule risks
• assist with startup scheduling and crew staffing
• coordinate technical issues with vendors and factory representatives
• mentor apprentices
• troubleshoot system problems
• assist testing and balancing and manufacturer representatives
• supervise technicians and apprentices as applicable
• coordinate with other trades
• support commissioning activities. Travel up to 25% is required, with extensive local and occasional out-of-town travel to job sites and customer locations.
