Description
The Switchboard Operator serves as the Information/Communications Center of the hospital. Duties include answering incoming calls; transferring call to appropriate parties; announcing/re-announcing emergency procedures/calls, and assisting with outgoing calls. Has access to patient name, location, and discharge date only. High School graduate or equivalent.
