Mitigation Technician

The Mitigation Technician role is onsite in Shawnee, KS, with compensation of $18–$20 per hour starting. The technician performs hands-on mitigation and restoration work at residential and commercial properties affected by water, fire, and other damage. The role helps restore affected sites by removing damaged materials, setting up drying equipment, supporting cleanup, and maintaining safe work areas.

What you'll do

• Perform mitigation and demolition, including removing damaged drywall, carpet, flooring, and other materials
• set up and operate fans, air movers, and dehumidifiers
• assist with water damage cleanup and restoration
• travel with the crew to Kansas City-area job sites
• load, unload, and organize equipment
• maintain clean and safe sites
• assist with additional construction and restoration work as needed.
