The director leads global trade compliance and operating-model strategy to support compliant, scalable operations across research and development, manufacturing, clinical, and commercial activities. The role partners with senior leaders and cross-functional teams on international expansion, risk management, supply-chain efficiency, and team development.

What you'll do

• Design and evolve global trade and operating models
• lead country activation from a trade and operations perspective
• own and enhance the global trade compliance framework
• oversee risk assessments, monitoring, internal controls, and executive reporting
• engage with regulatory authorities
• develop tariff mitigation and duty optimization strategies
• monitor trade and geopolitical developments
• establish compliance KPIs
• qualify logistics service providers
• lead and develop a global team
• and enable scalable processes and systems, including SAP.
