Medical Assistant

What you'll do

• Contact patients about periodic evaluations, abnormal test results, or missed appointments
• ensure consents and eligibility forms are completed
• obtain medical records
• report patient or family concerns
• clarify provider orders
• take and record vital signs
• answer calls and document messages
• prepare and restock exam rooms
• administer injections as directed and document them
• perform CLIA-waived tests
• conduct vision and hearing tests
• collect and process laboratory specimens.
