The stated annual salary is $90,000–$134,000. The position supports the Modeling and Simulation Vistas – Threat and Advanced Simulations Development (MSV-TASD) program. The engineer designs, implements, and maintains DevOps solutions that enable efficient, secure, and repeatable software development and delivery. The role strengthens the program’s distributed modeling and simulation environments through CI/CD automation, containerization, testing integration, performance monitoring, and security and configuration controls.

What you'll do

• Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines
• automate infrastructure deployment, scaling, and management
• implement and manage containerization technologies including Docker and Podman
• collaborate with development and test teams to improve build, integration, and deployment processes
• integrate automated testing and quality and security tools into pipelines
• monitor system and pipeline performance
• maintain security, compliance, and configuration baselines
• use identity and credential management tools to support secure automation and access control.
