The Outpatient Care Veterinary Technician role is onsite in Petal, MS; pay is $14–$18 per hour. The position supports Petal Animal Clinic’s outpatient and preventive veterinary care, including wellness and sick visits, follow-ups, and client education.

What you'll do

• Assist with wellness exams, sick visits, and follow-ups
• obtain patient histories
• collect samples and perform diagnostic testing
• assist veterinarians during examinations and procedures
• educate clients about preventive care, treatment, medications, and follow-up
• maintain medical records and charges
• prepare exam rooms
• and support efficient patient flow.

Why this role

The schedule is Monday through Friday between 7:30 a.m. and 6:00 p.m., with alternating Saturdays from 8:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.; Saturday availability is required, with no Sundays or holidays. Certified veterinary technicians or candidates eligible for certification are especially encouraged.
