The accountant supports accurate, timely, GAAP-compliant financial reporting and routine accounting operations, while helping improve processes and support cross-functional business needs.

What you'll do

• Support monthly, quarterly, and annual close, including reconciliations, journal entries, accruals, fixed assets, financial statements, and variance analysis
• support accounts payable, receivables follow-up, reimbursements, cash and credit card activity, and customer invoicing
• maintain accounting records and schedules
• coordinate tax filings and payments with Avalara and the outside CPA firm
• assist with audits and external reporting
• support customer and commercial activities
• strengthen internal controls and financial-system data integrity
• comply with privacy and security standards.
