The Outreach and Admissions Counselor role is onsite at the Quentin Burdick Job Corps Center in Bismarck, ND, with compensation of $40,000–$45,000 per year. Job Corps is a federally funded residential training program that provides career-ready technical and academic training and job-placement assistance to eligible youth ages 16–24. The counselor recruits and supports eligible applicants through enrollment and helps students remain engaged in training and transition toward employment. The role builds community partnerships and supports the center’s admissions, retention, and placement goals.

What you'll do

• Conduct outreach, recruitment, admissions, and readmissions activities
• maintain applicant contact and records
• help applicants develop career and employability plans
• assess and verify eligibility
• conduct campus tours and community outreach
• coordinate pre-enrollment and arrival activities
• support student retention and follow-up
• prepare reports
• assist with graduate placement and career-transition support
• travel and conduct home visits as required.
