Production Controller

What you'll do

• Schedule and coordinate work between manufacturing departments to expedite production
• review master schedules and work orders and set priorities based on specifications and resource availability
• reschedule processes to avoid duplicate machine setups
• distribute work orders with quantities and proposed completion dates
• coordinate with supervisors about progress and process changes
• report work progress and equipment-related downtime
• maintain inventory of materials and parts
• may expedite materials and use computer systems to track production units.
