The Specialized Caregiver role is onsite in Dallas, TX, with compensation of $14–$19 per hour. Butterfly Home Care – Northwest DFW provides individualized support to children and individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities and autism. The role exists to help clients with daily activities while supporting their safety, confidence, life skills, independence, and participation in home and community life. Caregivers follow individualized care plans and communicate relevant changes and concerns to families and the care team.

What you'll do

• Provide individualized care and assistance with daily living, personal care, hygiene, and meals
• offer companionship and supervision
• follow client care plans and support communication, sensory, social, and behavioral needs
• encourage life skills, independence, and community participation
• communicate with families and care coordinators
• document services and report changes, incidents, or safety concerns.

Why this role

High school diploma or equivalent is preferred; experience with children, disabilities, or autism is preferred. CPR/First Aid certification and related specialized training are a plus.
