Restaurant Shift Leader

The Restaurant Shift Leader role is onsite in Roseville, CA. Compensation is $22–$24 per hour. The role supports the day-to-day success of Smashburger and reports to the Restaurant General Manager. The shift leader directs front- and back-of-house team members, manages shift operations, and helps ensure guests receive a consistent experience. The role also supports food safety, labor and inventory controls, team development, and restaurant opening and closing procedures.

What you'll do

• Lead front- and back-of-house team members
• complete opening and closing procedures, cash and deposit requirements, safety checks, and operational checklists
• train, coach, recognize, and develop team members
• monitor guest experience metrics
• complete line checks and uphold food safety and sanitation
• manage labor deployment, food ordering, inventory, and cost procedures
• follow cash-handling procedures.
