Cook / Chef — Childcare Center

What you'll do

• Prepare and serve food in accordance with applicable laws and regulations
• maintain a clean, organized kitchen and pantry
• safely prepare breakfast, lunch, and snacks
• plan nutritious menus and substitution meals for vegetarian or medical diets
• coordinate with families about food brought from home for medical restrictions
• manage portions and food budget
• order food and supplies
• wash dishes using the three-sink method
• communicate with regulatory agencies during inspections
• attend school meetings and events.
