What you'll do

• Perform routine aseptic blood draws, including venipuncture
• obtain patient information and explain procedures
• maintain positive patient identification and collection records
• ensure specimen requirements and integrity
• label, process, and store samples
• prepare test order forms
• maintain supplies
• perform quality control procedures
• may assist with specimen processing and testing in other clinical areas.
