What you'll do

• Plan work activities and safety action plans with the Project Manager
• review contracts, project documents, and plans
• organize daily operations and labor, tools, equipment, and materials
• manage crews of 20–25 employees
• conduct daily crew briefings
• enforce safety practices and FRA track safety standards
• communicate with customers and contractors
• coordinate crew schedules, lodging, equipment fueling, repairs, and maintenance
• oversee track tie and switch timber replacement and track gauging
• maintain project, time, equipment, and inspection records. The role requires 90–100% travel.
