Food Service Utility (Part-Time)

The Food Service Utility role is an onsite, part-time position in West Long Branch, NJ, with schedules and hours that vary and may include nights and weekends. Pay is $16.50–$17.50 per hour. The role supports Monmouth Board Plan and Gourmet Dining’s campus food service operations. This position keeps kitchen work areas, equipment, and utensils clean and orderly so food service can operate safely. Duties include cleaning floors and food-preparation surfaces, removing trash, moving supplies and equipment, and helping set up banquet and front-of-house areas.

What you'll do

• Sweep and mop floors
• wash worktables, walls, refrigerators, meat blocks, and other food-preparation surfaces
• remove trash and clean garbage cans
• transfer supplies and equipment
• assist with banquet and front-of-house setup
• load, unload, and deliver supplies and products
• distribute supplies and utensils
• follow sanitation and safety requirements.
