What you'll do

• Answer calls from patients and insurance carriers about explanations of benefits, patient responsibility, and insurance processing or payments
• review bills and explanations of benefits and explain patient responsibility
• research issues and work with the billing team to reprocess claims as needed
• resolve returned correspondence and calls without transferring them
• accept and process account payments
• assist with secondary paper claims
• route incoming faxes and documents
• work billing reminders
• cross-train and assist with billing projects.
