What you'll do

• Design and analyze residential and light commercial structures using wood, steel, concrete, and masonry
• prepare structural calculations, framing plans, construction drawings, and engineering reports
• evaluate existing structures and develop renovation and addition solutions
• review architectural plans and structural designs for code compliance
• apply IRC, IBC, and relevant engineering standards
• collaborate with architects, contractors, homeowners, and engineers
• conduct occasional site visits
• support junior engineers as experience allows.
