Mobile Crisis Specialist

The Mobile Crisis Specialist role is in person in Charlotte Hall, MD, and is part-time; pay is $34–$36 per hour for LCSW-C/LCPC, depending on licensure and experience. The specialist joins the frontline crisis intervention team at The Affiliated Santé Group. The role provides community-based assessments and crisis intervention, including de-escalation, crisis planning, and treatment planning. It supports individuals in crisis through referrals, education, documentation, and coordination with families, friends, and community partners.

What you'll do

• Perform assessments and crisis intervention, including de-escalation, crisis planning, implementation, and treatment plans
• communicate client needs and make agency or community referrals
• complete accurate documentation
• use knowledge of community resources
• collaborate with families, friends, and community partners
• educate individuals about mental health, substance abuse, community resources, and agency services
• comply with confidentiality and protected health information requirements.

Why this role

Available part-time shifts are 8 a.m.–4 p.m. or 4 p.m.–12 a.m. An MSW or related field and eligibility to sit for licensure within six months are required; a valid driver’s license and current auto insurance are also required.
