The Senior Director, Medical Affairs is an onsite, full-time role in Cambridge, MA. The salary range is $280,000–$325,000 per year. Editas Medicine’s mission is to develop precision genomic medicines for people living with serious diseases, and this role focuses on its lead in vivo development candidate, EDIT-401. The role establishes Medical Affairs capabilities and provides scientific leadership and strategic direction, translating clinical and scientific evidence into medical strategy and supporting engagement with external stakeholders throughout development and lifecycle management.

What you'll do

• Lead Medical Affairs strategy, medical communications, opinion-leader engagement, data dissemination, and external collaborations
• establish publication and congress plans
• develop scientific platforms and compliant medical materials
• interpret clinical, real-world, and published data
• build relationships with medical stakeholders
• lead scientific advisory boards
• partner on clinical trial design and execution
• engage patient advocacy organizations
• direct external agencies, manage budgets, and mentor team members.
