What you'll do

• Operate an excavator to load haul trucks with overburden, ore, or aggregate
• maintain production rates while minimizing spillage and rework
• use proper digging and loading techniques
• inspect equipment before and after shifts
• report mechanical issues and unsafe conditions
• follow site safety policies and MSHA regulations
• communicate with drivers, dispatch, and supervisors
• maintain clean work areas.
