What you'll do

• Welcome patients
• perform prescreening and preliminary testing
• document histories and test results
• explain diagnostic tests
• perform retinal imaging, OCT, visual fields, corneal topography and autorefraction
• prepare and maintain exam rooms and diagnostic equipment
• teach contact lens insertion, removal and care
• order and receive contact lenses
• support patient flow and communicate with patients, doctors and team members.

Why this role

The schedule is Monday 7:45 a.m.–1:00 p.m. and Tuesday through Friday 7:45 a.m.–5:00 p.m.; no nights or weekends, and most major holidays are off. Paid training is available. A high school diploma or equivalent and at least one year of customer-service and computer experience are required; eye-care or clinical experience is preferred.
